ORIGINAL POST March 2020 – The Parish Council is currently known as, Hutton Henry Parish Council but is consulting on a proposed change to Hutton Henry and Station Town Parish Council to make it more representative of the community it represents.
Durham County Council as the Principal Authority can only formally adopt the new name following local consultation.
If implemented, the new title would not affect any other aspect of the running of the Parish Council and all existing wards and elected members would remain as they are.
The Parish Council has launched a four-week consultation starting on Monday 2 March and closing on Sunday 29 March 2020.
